Man robbed at knife point then punched in the face by thugs on Sheffield road

Police have confirmed that they are investigating a robbery that occurred on Chesterfield Road South, where two mobile phones were stolen from the victim.
The victim, a man from Sheffield, said that he was robbed by two people.

Hide AdHe said: “I was robbed at knife point. Before I ran off I was punched in the face.”
A statement from South Yorkshire Police said: “We received a call at 8:02pm on Thursday 2 January following reports of a robbery on Chesterfield Road South.
“The caller reported he was assaulted at knife point after meeting two men on the road.
“It is reported two mobile phones were stolen.
“Enquiries are ongoing to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident.
“Anyone with any information is asked to call 101 quoting incident number 787 of 2 January 2019.”
