Hide AdAli, known as Black Johnny, Gulaid and Madman, is believed by police to have played a part in the death of 47-year-old Shaun Lyall, who was battered with golf clubs, screwdrivers, a knife, scissors and a length of wood in his home.
The motive is said to have been missing drugs and cash that Mr Lyall was supposed to have been looking after.
Craig Whittle 45, of Corporation Road, Grimsby, was jailed for life over the murder but jurors in his trial were told that Ali was also involved.
He continues to evade arrest by ignoring repeated appeals for him to come forward to help police with their enquiries.
