Appeal after 'nasty’ attack that saw Rotherham pensioner pushed off bike and robbed
Shortly before 9am this morning (January 27), a 70-year-old man was cycling along Laughton Common Road in the direction of Thurcroft.
When he was around 100 yards away from Thurcroft Cemetery, it is reported that the passenger of a blue Ford Fiesta purposely leaned out of the car window and pushed him off his electric bike.

Rotherham DI Nina Jackson, said: “I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this or a 54 plate Ford Fiesta in the Thurcroft and Laughton area this morning to get in touch.
"I’d also urge drivers who were travelling through the area to check their dash cam footage to see if they captured the vehicle on video.
"I am keen to identify and speak to the two men in connection with this incident.

"Thankfully, he has suffered no life altering injuries, however he was left incredibly shaken. His helmet was also cracked which suggests he was pushed with severe force.
“If you can help my team identify those involved, please contact us on 101 as soon as you can. Any footage or CCTV can be emailed to us. Thank you for your help.”
