Couples invited to wildlife park in Doncaster for wedding preview day
Two couples have tied the knot at the park since it was granted a wedding licence in 2014, but it is expected that more will follow suit now that the wildlife park and Crown Hotel in Bawtry have joined forces to tempt more brides and grooms to choose the animal reserves as the backdrop for the photos on their big day.
To demonstrate how the weddings would work, a preview day is to be held on Sunday, January 24.

As part of the wedding package drinks will be served in the Caramba Gardens, surrounded by tropical plants, before guests leave for a reception at The Crown.
Abbie Bowler and David Merrett were the first to tie the knot at the wildlfe park.
On their special day they helped feed the giraffes and lions.

Matthew Zaremba, of Yorkshire Wildlife Park, said: “Christmas is the most popular time for proposals followed by Valentine’s Day and New Year’s Eve so it is important that couples who want to come to the preview or hold their wedding here book early.”
The wedding preview day will run from 11am to 4pm, with couples urged to book call 01302 535057 or email [email protected] to book an appointment.
