Cash machine attacked in north Derbyshire
A police probe is underway into an attack on a cash machine in north Derbyshire.
A passer-by called the police after spotting smoke coming from the machine at the Co-op service station, Chesterfield Road, Duckmanton, at 4.24am today.
When officers arrived they discovered that there had been a failed bid to steal cash from the machine.

Hide AdDetective Inspector Justin Redman said: “Our investigation is at an early stage and we’d like to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area between about 3am and 4.30am today.”
