Car parking spaces to be lost at University of Sheffield
A planning application has been submitted to Sheffield Council to build the facility on land just off Northumberland Road and to the west of the university’s Goodwin Sports Complex.
A design and access statement submitted with the application said it would temporarily house the university’s psychology department and provide capacity for around 300 students.

“The building will comprise Portakabin units which will be painted green.
“The main entrance will be clad with cedar wood panels and this will be carried through the rest of the building.”
A total of 54 parking spaces will be lost in order to facilitate the building.
