BREAKING: South Yorkshire MP's reaction to terror attack outside Parliament today
Witnesses described seeing a car crash into the perimeter fence on Westminster Bridge, hitting pedestrians, before the driver ran towards police officers guarding parliament.
Onlookers said a man armed with a knife had attacked police officers at the gate before being shot. One police officer has reportedly been stabbed. At least three shots were heard and people described seeing two people laid on the ground.

Hide AdRotherham MP Sarah Champion tweeted that four shots had been fired outside Portcullis House, the offices of 213 MPs and their staff.
Barnsley East MP Michael Dugher said: "A heartfelt thank you to all those who keep us safe in Parliament.
"Thoughts and prayers with everyone affected by this incident in Westminster."
