The latest figures show there were 760 confirmed cases of coronavirus across the city during the seven days to March 25 – the latest date for which reliable data is available.
That gives a weekly rate of 129.9 new cases per 100,000 people – up from 113.7 the previous week.

Hide AdSheffield’s weekly case rate is now the 10th highest out of 315 local authorities across England, but it remains the lowest in South Yorkshire.
Rotherham has the nation’s second highest case rate, of 169.2; Barnsley is third, with 157.2; and Doncaster is in ninth place, on 133.4.
The highest weekly case rate is 235.4 in Corby, Northamptonshire, while the England average is 56.
The number of Covid patients in Sheffield’s hospitals is continuing to fall and now stands at 100 – down from 417 on January 22 this year – according to the latest official statistics.
