Posting on Facebook, Jamie thanked everyone for donating, adding: “That money will be going to the frontline NHS key workers and volunteers that are out there risking their lives and safety for us all! THANK YOU to everyone of them.
“We pretty much had between 3000-4000 listeners all day. I don’t know the exact overall stats because Facebook has wiped all the videos but I’d estimate between all the streams throughout the day we easily had over two million views and it probably reached double that amount! That’s INSANE!
“I hope I kept you all entertained throughout the day, the toughest task I had was to try keep a balance of all the genres as I know you all wanted to hear something different from the last 25 years! Hopefully I did that.

In addition to the fundraising, Jamie is giving away 700 free tickets to frontline NHS staff to events run by Wired Events – a company set up by Jamie – including Bassfest, 90's fest, Parked Out or events at Tank nightclub.
