The former Gilders site off Ecclesall Road South is being redeveloped into eight, four-bedroomed town houses, two commercial units, a 24 hour gym and car parking.
Commercial interior design and fit-out specialist OVO Spaces has created the new offices for chartered accountants Brown McLeod.

The OVO team have been working over several months on the workshop and started by completely stripping out walls and services.
The building’s concrete structure and original architectural features will be retained and as much natural light as possible will be allowed in.
“We wanted to maintain some sense of the original features and keep the project as raw and true to its original form as possible adding essential modern technologies to the building as we progressed,” said OVO creative design manager Sophie Kendall.

Hide Ad“We provided comfort cooling and heating with energy efficient air source heat pumps to all areas giving complete comfort and control.”
The conversion has seen the creation of office space, two large conference rooms, an open plan reception and seven private offices. There is also a staff breakout space for up to 100 people, including a full size Shuffleboard.
Other facilities feature three large, secure client file rooms, print areas and 35 staff car parking spaces on the roof of the office building, complete with picnic area.
