Sheffield casino "thrilled "to open its doors and welcome back customers once again

Sheffield’s Genting casino on St Paul’s Place, will be re-opening for business on Monday May 17 following clearance from the Government.
The casino will open its doors once again and, in a change from previous government policy, there will be no enforced curfew in place.

Hide AdA number of Covid-secure measures will, however, remain, and casino bosses say staff are committed to ensuring every step is taken to ensure the environment remains safe and welcoming.
Peter Chiswell, Genting Casino Regional Operations Director for the North, said; “The staff at all of our casinos can’t wait to welcome our customers back through the doors and are delighted to be getting back to business. We will continue to put all of our efforts into ensuring the environment is a safe and happy place for all customers and colleagues to create the most enjoyable experience possible. All of our policies will be reviewed on an ongoing basis and in line with up-to-date government advice.”
The casinos will be operating with a limited capacity to ensure social distancing is maintained throughout.
Masks will also be required upon entry, multiple hand sanitizer stations will be located across the venue, screens will be in place between slot machines and e-tables and regular deep cleaning will be taking place. A range of food and drink is also available for table service.
Genting Casino Sheffield will open daily at 12pm, closing at 5am.
